delusion (2022)

is a pixel animation that portrays the incompatibility of one's desires and ambitions against rationality. It depicts the contradiction of the mind and heart by combining disturbing imagery and audio to create an uncomfortable atmosphere. The goal was to make the audience feel stressed and overwhelmed as they watched and listened to the animation. I wanted to have the audience connect with the emotions and empathize with those who connect with them.

In a never-ending cycle of overwork, burnout, and self-degradation, the animation portrays the overloading ambitions from the influences of the internet, taking in more tasks than you can handle until you burn out, and the judgement and expectations that slowly poison your passions.
